Care was taken to see that it got to us in good order with 4 silicon stoppers under between the plateau and the base to prevent damage in shipping and a plastic piece under the battery compartment to make sure they did not turn on in transit

Bought this to replace a scale that quit working this is a big improvement over the other scale as it was flat and hard to read as readout often was covered it was ozeri model kz010 and will not turn on and stay on

Sometimes it repeats units of measurement in the process of hitting the unit button and im not sure why that is

The top plate is 6 inches across and the front sticks out just under 2 more inches from the aluminum plate
