It still is sufficient to pump up many bicycle tires but again the plastic on that 29 year old pump must be getting brittle so why not replace it

On the down side the gauge on it is nothing more than an assistant to guess when you are full since it vibrates nearly 10 psi while it is on and when off is too small to see an accurate reading which isnt overly accurate to begin with

And it is very loud but im not sure of any compressors that i would consider quiet especially not at this price point

Overall i would absolutely buy this unit again unlike the one i had before it that tried to start a fire in my car when it shorted out and bypassed its internal fuse
