This telescope is an f5 1200mm zoom lens with my canon eos and i will purchase a compatible highquality barlow lens
I used low power 30x and high 250x and both provided reasonable images
I am quite hesitant to purchase any celestron products in the future based on this

Obviously there’s a learning curve when you’ve never used one before but most of that has to do with actually finding the things you want to look at and less with the actual telescope

Mine came with a slight crack in the enamel on the base but it seems to work just fine doesnt seem to compromise strength

The finder scope is useful for celestial finding but serves only as a base for a red dot finder scope a firearms red dot for my day time aviation spotting
