Pros & Cons
Pros
The lacing system is ahead of its time. Most comfortable, durable grippy shoe ever. The quick lace provides a more evenly distributed lace and if your feet swell up you can quickly adjust the pressure and keep running.
Solomon xa pro 3d m+ is built with a high arch support and is fairly stiff & should be considered a'motion-control' shoe (support for pronation) i just ordered my second pair, these shoes are tanks. Much more than vibram. These shoes last about 5x... Read More
The 2e width provides the additional width that you may need if you typically require a wide size. This fits me perfectly and i don't need to were my orthodics!
Contragrip soles aren't very sticky, so watch your step while hopping logs and rocks. On dry ground, no problem with traction. The only downside is the sole, which is slippery on wet rocks.
Cons
In the toes it is wide. Fundamental flaw in this shoe is that it is narrow in the arch.
Too often people go for extra cushioning when it can actually be detrimental. Elastic mesh narrows the entry for your foot into the shoe. What happens is the top of the tongue sticks way up and your pants get caught behind it.
