It tends to get brittle with overtemperature printing so its best to do a couple of test prints to dial in the hotend prior to printing

If there is even the slightest lag in the filament tension on the other reel with the black filament which happens all the time because of the nature of the movement of the 3d printing head it comes off the reel and can get tangled eventually ruining the print

We have a makerbot at the gainesville hackerhouse that this was ordered for it worked well on and off but would get jammed inside the head every few runs

It was the first brand i tried and after 2 other manufacturers and nothing feeds aswell and is as consistant so far as sainsmart

I could imagine that this would be an issue with the oem makerbot extruder but i replaced it with one of the upgraded springloaded designs available on thingiverse
