I had the impression from the pictures that it would be more of a tan background however it is more light grey and the binding around the edges is definitely light grey

My one problem is how the carpet came rolled up which caused the ends where it was rolled more tightly to stick up necessitating me having to tape it to the floor hoping it will relax and not cause a tripping hazard
