Seeing as i only have 2 usb ports right next to each other im really glad this came with the usb extender cable
Unit works perfectly on a macbook with no issues or drivers required
The sound quality was not great but it was adequate

I bought these to use with my nubwo gaming headset for zoom meetings since i couldnt find a true usb headsetthis was the next best thing
I havent connected it to anything like a highend audio system but it sounds fine driving a bose speaker in my workshop

I just recently have become interested in recording my bass guitar for personal projects and for fun but i was unable to plug the headphone output from my amp straight into my 2018 macbook pro because it would only recognize this as an output not an input

You could probably edit out most of the static or at least reduce it a lot using any audio program on a computer
