Pros & Cons

Pros

The aluminum arrows it comes with are not bad, and replaced the field tips with mechanical broadheads. It's not quite as strong as my compound bow, but it is much easier to pack with the included strap. With new professional (very lethal) arrows, this...  Read More

Bought this as a gift for my grandson. Overall, great bang-for-buck.

It shoots well, is durable, easy to put together, and over all a good purchase. Lightweight and accurate. Like this alot.

If you bow hunt on the ground this works well as you do not have to pull your string back and spook the deer. I've killed 6 deer with this over the past 3 seasons, including a 200lb 8 pointer. Had some trouble sighting in but have it now.

Make sure to religiously lube the string and rails with wax every 5 shots. Comes with extras to help, like rail lube and a cocking device. No troubles stringing it.

Cons

I have it zeroed at 25 yards, and the bolts are inside a golf ball when i get the shot off properly. Accuracy beyond twenty yards highly erratic. Deflection from the left limb to the right is a half inch different everytime i * it.

Not sure if there is a bad batch from the manufacture or just bad qc. They just want your money. Not worth the gamble.

Also grab a bag to shoot otherwise you will loose your tips the first time you shoot the arrow

Make sure to lube string every five shots or the factory sting will only last a bit

Not sure why one would need to spend 1000 or more to get the same result

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Im not sure what the exact issue was but i could never quite get it zeroed in and it never was completely tight

I ditched the scope put on the included iron sight and voila i have a bow that groups so tight that i cant shoot at the same bullseye at 20 yards

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

I dont think id take a shot much further than 30 yards anyway so i dont really need a scope

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

That is overkill at that distance

Posted by a reviewer on Amazon

Its only 5 pounds so much lighter than a long gun and since youre shooting with both hands easier than a 4 pound bow as well
