Its much more subtle than the plastic inserts with the lip around them and this one is steel
Looks like nice quality though just sucks im missing pieces
But be fully aware that if you own a 2017 jeep sahara like me that this will not work with the silver inserts taken out of your grill
I ended up reluctantly returning this item and bought a whole new aftermarket grill with the inserts already installed

It does require 4x 316 holes to be drilled into the plastic grille but i dont consider that as a negative since 1 the installation is very secured and 2 the holes drilled are not exposed when the hood is closed

The bad typical to aftermarket products they tends to be 8090 there in terms of fitment

The 2 brackets included does not match the curvature of the oem grille so it will take some light bending to get it to fit right

The only negative i have about this product is that the screws and lock nuts that come with the kit are way too small for securing the bottom of the support braces into the holes you have to drill at the bottom of your factory grill

I could barely get my fingers to hold them and ended up having to run to home depot to get longer screws and different lock nuts to complete the project properly

The mesh doesnt look like it was the best mold but unless your really picking it apart you cant tell anything

I had to trim some of the plastic that comes from the top of the radiator to accommodate the screw heads but this wasnt a big deal at all
