Pros
This is my favorite type of peak flow meter, so it was a definite win win for me.
The flow is easy to use and read. Allows me to track my breathing. Helps me evaluate my asthma. Comes with a chart you can monitor your results with and bring to your pulmonologist.
It is compact, and closes up nicely for taking it anywhere. It protects the device in your pocket or purse and doubles as a convenient handle.
Cons
The philips respironics has a much cheaper feel for three dollars more. While mostly cosmetic, the printed number thresholds and other branding have inconsistent printing contributing to the 'cheapness' feel.

I only gave 4 stars because the graph to chart my flow is so small for a person over 50 its hard to see

It comes with a pamphlet that explains what values are nornal for each age and gender
