Competitiveness
I have used this unit for a number of customers but stopped when i kept getting nonworking units
This works just as good as my old winegard
I swapped my antenna and made some adjustments and was able to get back a couple of yhe channels

Because i have two antennas i have the fm trap set to on and the separate vhfuhf option set to on

I installed an lte filter on the uhf line before the preamp input it did not make much of a difference for me i am not living that close to a cell tower

I read it is not needed for the vhf the fm trap is needed for lower vhf frequencies

I was not getting much of anything without this preamp plus it allows me to use two antennas but it can be configured to use one antenna for both uhf and vhf

Once i replaced the powerline setup with inexpensive direct tv ethernet over coaxial deca adapters and got rid of the powered internet switch my vhf reception became rock solid crystal clear 247 and i get about 7 or 8 more uhf stations that must have been completely masked by all the interference

Do not waste your money on any other one

However i did need to order a 2 foot coaxial cable to attach the antenna feed to the preamplifier device it did not come in the kit
