Pros & Cons

Pros

Red and green are the brighter colors. Backlight is as bright as it needs to be in any indoor setting. Not blinding, but not too dim. Programmable keys (with synapse software) means i can re-purpose useless keys.

I play fps games and my wife was getting upset at the loud noise my previous keyboard was making (and fps means you have to press a lot of keys really quickly all the time). This keyboard is much quieter, so this is a big win for me.

For gamers or typists who really prefer chiclet style keyboards to mechanical ones, there is no better option in my opinion. My only regret is that i cheaped out and didn't get the full rgb model, which at the time was 30$ more.

Typing is a very pleasant experience. Functionally it's quite simple to use. I mainly touch type, so this will most likely improve my typing skills.

Cons

The keys are in a dark grey not white so you can hardly see the actual letters and numbers. I own the logitech k740 and the logitech is way better in every department.

Many games are now unplayable. I have to disconnect and reconnect the keyboard to sometimes make it work again. For instance, pressing ctrl-s to save and then seeing on my screen sssssss.

It makes a high-pitched noise (coming from the keyboard itself) when the backlighting is on. Even in rgb lighting this keyboard falls short.

It is also one of the quietest keyboards i have ever used if you have light hands or even if you press a bit harder you will barely notice the sound of each keystroke

I also found the flat profile of the keyboard to be a bonus it leaves your wrists in an an extremely comfortable position not too flat but no extreme angle either

The colour of the text on the keys is a light grey which in low to medium light conditions makes it difficult to make out the print however if you are inclined to touch type this shouldnt be an issue except for the group of keys above the cursor keys

The only sign of the wear is a chip on the paint of my w key about the size of half a grain of rice
