I would not recommend for some one with thick hair

The power button is located on the left side of the brush you need to push and hold it for 3 seconds to turn it on and push and hold again to turn it off

The temperature setting is located under the power button and the temperature can go up to 230 degrees

Notes about it its in celsius so you do have to convert it so you know the temperature

However it never got that hot it stayed around 215 c
