The trick i found was not to try doubling it over length wise the whole way down rather just the top half then not on the bottom

I needed bags that would be suitable for nights where the temperature would be in the 30s and that packed down small enough to tie both bags to my pack my oldest boy is 7 getting him to carry his own clothes is a stretch

It is synthetic fill so it is a little bulkier than others but unless you are an ultralight weight gear freak it wont make a difference
