With the angled top bar of the bike if the bike shifts left or right a bit the bike bar can slip under the securing hook

We race bmx and finding a bike rack that will hold a mini frame bmx bike is a difficult task for sure

The only two things that kept me from giving 5 stars is the velcro straps that held the wheels eventually broke and there is no locking systems for the bikes to prevent theft

What really like that the first rack is for a 2 receiver while the second that slides into the first is for a 1 14 receiver

Amazon told me they need to send me an entire new bike rack then i take what i need and return the rest at no cost to me

They said this is the fastest that they could get me one even though i can see the same rack is available still at amazon with about a 1 week delivery time
