There are two cons it is too loud and it takes far too long to hydrate even extremely thin slices of fruit

The only downside and this may be user error but i find that i am a little too scared to leave the items out and instead have used the precaution of putting in the fridge but i find that after a week the beef has gotten fuzzy and sprouted mold

I should just freeze it next time or look into finding a vacuum seal solution
