When i 1st got this light i showed it to a couple of buddies that also grow indoors and they took a look at the hood and thought it wasnt gonna work

I tried to explain to them that the light has to travel from the bulb as far as 2 feet to the end of their hood only to then be reflected

I tried to explain how light diminishes greatly after it travels only 6 inches and it dosent matter what kind of hood you have

I would recommend buying these as the these have the features of other makersupdate it has been a year now that these lights have been a 1212 cycle with no down time all lights have no problems and lost no bulbs not only in my grow room but as for my friends and i mean 0 lights failed

Our electrician recommended not using the setting above 1000 watts so that feature is not useful
