Pros & Cons
Pros
A perfect game for a 3-5 year old. All the grandkids absolutely love it. Fun game for non-readers and for older alike. I like this game because it is so thrilling for younger children.
Game is fun. It has barely any rules and is easy to understand. It's simple, engaging and a lot of fun!
Squeals with laughter every time the pirate pops up. He laughs all the time waiting to see when the dinosaur will jump up. The suspense of the pirate popping out at you is similar to the old jack in the box's.
Cons
Stopped working after being used twice by 4 and 6 year old grandchildren. When it was opened a moth later, the toy was broke upon opening the box. There's nothing reinforcing about it because it rarely works.
The one that makes the pirate pop up is always on his side which renders the sockets in his front and back pointless. No place to store the daggers when not in play. Doesnt always pop up.

We just put the swords in a pile and take turns putting one in rather than dividing them up by color as the game suggests
