It's ok when you push it away from you but on the drawback the front tips up and it does nothing. The brushes on the underside are removable, and because of this, they tend to come off while vacuuming.

When i uncovered my pool this year it was a disaster

My pool was full of dirty debris leaves and muck because it was closed last year after a storm had dumped much debris in it and there and no power to use vacuum and clean it before covering it for the winter

Unfortunately my grandson was using it midway of the cleaning when it sucked to the bottom he tried to pull it loose by twisting and pulling instead of switching the pump off to stop the suction and broke the plastic end of the head that attached to the pole

The brushes on the bottom do come out and i have had to fish out the brush which can be a pain in the deep end of the pool

But that is true of the other triangular head pool vacuum i used in the past as well
