Ive had friends return this for that very reason thinking it was a fault with the watch itself
The sound could have been a little stronger otherwise i am satisfied with the product
Very easy to set up use i can go back view my training files chest strap is really comfortable syncs quickly with the watch i love it

It gives a much lower heartrate than my previous heartrate monitor which was very cheap so this is probably more accurate

Also the strap dries out fast so you may need to remoisten it midworkout if sweat alone doesnt work

I bought an xss strap from amazon instead which fits much better

You can see during training the actual time training time actual heart rate calories burned and also a graphic display with the actual heart rate on a horizontal bar with fat burning and fitness activity zones

I bought this after having a pacemaker fitted and use this when ever i go walking or to the gym i also bought the flowlink unit in order to upload the data to the polar website which allows me to monitor my progress

Unless you are looking for a data logger which you can sync your data with other devices or programs and apps then this is ideal

Considered an optical wristband but they are simply not accurate enough according to all the best reviews and hence are a complete waste of money
