There is a timer but this effectively a separate item powered by its own battery and it bleeps at the end of the set time but doesnt turn the lamp off

It could benefit from a stand though as its not always easy to find the correct level to put it at which is why it only has 4 stars

The only concern is that it looks quite innocuous despite kicking out generous amounts of head so i have to warn people off getting too close to it or touching the front when its on the deep red glow seems to be a little mesmerising for some

However at the end of that period the machine just bleeps a few times and then if you do not respond by turning off the machine then it repeats this about a minute later

Usefully you are able to angle the machine so that it is properly directed and the area of treatment is sufficiently wide being about 30cm by 40cm that you are able to treat a general area such as your thigh without constantly shifting or moving the device around

I have found that it has helped with my circulation particularly when my hands and feet have lost a finger or a toe if you dont know what i mean i mean the circulation to that digit which means that it turns white and loses sensation
