I returned the product with the intention of swapping out for one that was hopefully new then realized you can get the exact same tester without the petutu printed on it for 20 less here on amazon

I had it in the tank for 10 minutes and it the digital reader never stopped with an actual ph number

I compared it to my test strips the first few times and was spot onhusband insisted i made sure it was calibrated correctly before trusting it so i used the packets and a thermometer and it was correct

The business end of the tester does have a fragile glass bulb which is somewhat shielded so care must be used not to damage that
