One of the key training tricks i found helpful was to have my dogs wear the collar for a least 2 weeks before turning it on so that they didnt relate the collar to the beeping then shocking to the collar

She is so shy and afraid she spent the first six months in our house hiding under furniture too low for ron to get to her

Had to make sure the collars were very snug otherwise the contacts dont make well contact and the zap doesnt happen

Still on original batteries and weve had this thing for at least 6 months and the dog is constantly coming within range ie its not just sitting stagnant
