When pebble pulled the plug and was acquired by fitbit i had the pebble time 2 on order in ks but never got it and got my funds back instead of the watch

Apparently you can swap in on the steel but the p2 is more tricky as the casing is sealed for waterproofing

Of course this is useless in the daytoday life as the purpose of the watch is to provide you with notifications from your smartphone without having to pull it out all the time

After the pebble online servers were shutdown by fitbit on june 30th 2018 my pebble watches were mostly still working but you couldnt change anything in the settings of the watchfaces or apps as there was simply no way to load them anymore on the phone

Fortunately a short query on the net returned me with some infos that a group of hackersfreaksfans got to backup most of the fitbitpebble server content and run it under a new name rebble to allow for pebble owners all over the world to be able to synchronize their apps again on the smartphone

I was really in doubt about acquiring this device because of the product support since pebble does not exist anymore as a company
