You will end up getting several of his titles as i have - they compliment each other. I just hope the other books by mr alexander are as good as this one.
A good grounding in an easy going style that is very digestible. An expertly written book, ideal for a novice like me!
The information has lots of examples and its in a great order that makes logical sense. It is the first time i've actually understood much of what is covered here. This is the best music theory book i've ever bought.
Cons
The physical manifestation of the book is completely naff. The covers are low quality, and non glossy. The pages are like budget photocopier paper.
