Just know that if you switch on the fly youll have to reset your monitor properties if you dont like the default settings

Not a full 5 star due to a very slight change in image sharpness clarity which is only noticeable if you are viewing 1080p videos

The good metal enclosure works allows 1 monitor to be fed from 2 alternate pcs n change with one pushthe bad buttons feel like chinzy plastic the pop as you change feed makes me wonder how tough the insides are so im careful the vga sockets need you to push the cables on because they are just a teeny bit out of spec in outer diameter

The pi wont sense the monitor unless you are feeding its line to the pi before power upconclusion buy if your just swapping feeds now and again if your a click a holic power user you probably want something higher quality

This device replaced an older extron vga switch and while the material quality is no where near as good i could but this item 100x over and still be cheaper than the item it is replacing
