The 1790mah model charges from 0 to 100 in around an hour and at its max camera displays 1hr 55 min recording time which is great

When i damaged my camcorder after accidentally dropping it in the paradiselike waters of el nido beach resort in palawan philippines my fault i upgraded to hcv520 and noticed the battery vwvbt190 is exactly the same as vwvbk180 except for the number of plastic notches at the underside of the camera

Since i thought maybe i can use vwvbk180 as spare battery for my new camcorder instead of buying a spare vwvbt190 which is pricey i remove the middle notch so that it will fit exactly on my new camcorder
