Pros

This is one of the only auto dial wall phones that doesn't require an ac plug. It also comes in a cream (almond? No such problems with this phone. She is in assisted living, so this phone has worked well since she really does not need a cell phone any... Read More

The speakerphone is a pleasure to use and works as expected. The sound is clear for a standard landline phone, and it has held up very well after 4 years of regular use. The handset cord can be replaced with a longer cord if needed.

Cons

The sound quality is fine, but there are several things i don't like. Clearly the headset jack (or associated electronics) is substandard quality. It's a polyphonic tone straight out of a 2003 * mobile cellphone, it's really bad.

If i jiggle the cord it either fixes the problem or makes it worse. Did not work in customizing. Since it is still under warranty, i have the option to send it in at my cost and wait 4 to 6 weeks for the repair.

Headset button doesn't work properly. Can't use speakerphone without taking the handset off its base. Not clear if you're muted or not.
