I got it specifically to make a really complicated recipe a ratatouille pie that calls for six cups of chopped tomato bell pepper and onion and two longsliced zucchini two longsliced squash and a whole eggplant sliced insanely thin

The body of the slicer is also machine washable if that is more convenient for you but the blades however are not and should always be carefully handwashed
