The bumper has a matte finish that sits out past the face of the phone so that if you drop your phone your phone face would never touch the groundcrack

Its really sleek and a relatively thin case but its protected my phone through thick and thin and way too many drops

I did drop it from my suv onto a parking lot and it scuffed the case very deeply but it didn’t crack and my phone was protected

It is difficult to get the phone in and out so i would not buy if you’re someone who likes to keep their id or credit card behind your phone inside the case
