I really dont like charging them using the mains their batteries are low capacity and overcharging them might cause them to lose capacity rapidly

No problem there are 7 ports to choose from so stick another charging usb cable in switch it on and away we go

Its a plug and go device once you have it plugged in the stick a usb charging cable into the port and switch it on a highlighter above will turn to blue to indicate that its on and charging simples
