I wore them in the middle of harmattan season dry hot extremely arid conditions in ghana west africa and the only time i got bit by any insect was when i was not wearing them

The only qualm i had about them is that they are quite difficult to put on and most times i had someone help me as the holes in the bracelet are very small so that it can fit snugly

I would have liked to have had several more to try them out in different areas to see if they are really a good deterrent however there was only 5 so they were used up quickly

I started doing research about mosquito products a few months back every product i looked at on amazon had positive reviews and negative reviewsso i started doing research into actual mosquitoes and their behaviori came across that people found that no matter how much bug spray or anti mosquito repellent they apply to themselves they still receive mosquito bitesso i kept on doing some research and came across that theres over 3000 different types of mosquitoesthat being said i started to realize that theres no way possible for scientists or laboratories to produce a product that will be 100 guaranteed to stop mosquito bitesi bought these bands and gave them a chance i am very happy with the results i wore them and got no mosquito bitesone of my friends that is very prone to getting mosquito bites wore them and applied a deet spray and still got bitesso this proves that all the people that complain that the bands dont work thats because regardless of what they apply to them deet they will still get bitmy advice is buy them try them if they work keep them if they dont return them and get your money back i always believe in giving something a chance

My son is very allergic to insect bites and since we live in south texas there is no way to avoid mosquitoes
