The construction is great. Seems to be non scratch. This knife is a beast.
The sheath is also good quality. Makes the job easy and less wear and tear on my body. That alone is worth the price! Just a very pleasant transaction. Bought on amazon.
They are sturdy, and durable. It feels incredibly sturdy and sure in my hands with a comfortable handle and pleasant heft. Just enough weight to make swing efficient and effortless.
Great for planting, weeding and general gardening. Used it to easily lift paving stones. Easy to dig trenches, cut roots if they're in your way. Makes weeding so easy to pry up the whole root.
The most useful stable tool for a gardener. Great for vege gardening and planting. No one will comment on your gardening skills as you're hauling it outside.

The blade is 18 thick in the middle
Posted by a reviewer on Amazon
Initially i was concerned it might not be thick enough because i usually take my trowel and push it into the soil and then press against the handle sideways as leverage which causes a lot of stress on the tool

At no point after using it in tough ground did i feel the blade would bend
