Very sharp throughout the range only complaint is it doesnt work well on live view on my d3300 unless i crank up the iso

It handles well even if you get a used one build quality is solid except for the cheap aluminum aperture ring however i was forced to lock the aperture at the smallest aperture with the little switch on the bottom of the lens not sure if its my camera d3300 or all digital cameras

In fact ive never seen anything like it outside of the realm of mediumformat cameras

I rarely dabble in macro photography and would have no use for this lens if it wasnt such a stellar choice for portrait photos
