I kept going back and forth on whether or not to purchase it because it seems like it had soooo many bad reviews

There is enough sand to give you that good even sandcovered bottom and when the child moves the magnet through the sand then you can see the plastic bottom

I feel like it is easier for the child to see the cause and effect of moving the magnet so they can see their scribbles better as opposed to if there was more sand in there and the plastic bottom stayed covered

I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because it did seem a little difficult to move the stylus around
