They are spill proof until dropped on the ground then they spit a fair amount out at times depends on how hard and how high they are dropped from

I’m giving the cups five stars because they are the most leakproof cups i have found but i gave them four stars on “leakproof” because it does leak when the baby turns it upside down and shakes it so it’s not truly leakproof

It is easy to take the pieces apart run them on the top rack of the dishwasher and then put them back together again

When my child chucks it on the floor it definitely leaks but i dont fault the product for toddlers

In general though weve also had some leaks while tipped on its side
