It is very deceiving to look at it since it is flat that it doesnt hold as much but that is not true

When you put the lid on it you need to push down in the center it says push right on the lid and it will seal the sections and if you did it right it should make the sections leak proof

Im not sure why others had leaking problems other than the fact that they probably did not put the lid on correctly as it forms a tight seal

If you have it on correctly it is sort of hard to get it open

It may be fine if you have fingernails and can get in between the lid and tray but without them it is difficult

If they had a little tab on one of the corners to lift it from there it would be perfect of course it wouldnt be square then

Fits well in a regular size kids lunchbox but a little snug doesn’t fit my sons smaller lunchbox though and might be hard for some younger kids to open
