Tried to contact the vendor, but have not heard back. Would be willing to swap for another unit from the vendor. Doing so causes distortion. I know some people have claimed they had good luck with this player, but mine was clearly a dud!

This tape recorder also has a feature where it will automatically flip the side of the tape once it gets to the end which is really handy if you want to just let it record and not have to come back and manually flip it after one side has finished recording

I wish it would stop after recording both sides though because sometimes i would go do something else while it was recording and then come back and have to edit out the repeated sides since it would continually flip

This had a couple of problems first the headphones only work on one side but i was lucky enough to have the ones that came with my i phone which work fantastic

It has a cd with it but you can download the last updated version of audacity for free on the internet other than the problems with the phones and usb cable i am very well satisfied since it works and i dident have to go through the hassel to return it

Basically if you have a bunch of tape cassettes from that period no matter what you do it’s going to sound terrible
