I dont use cds anymore and play music off my ipod that i have plugged in on the bottom tray that plugs into the factory usb port so no need for the cd player to be used

One thing i did have to do is adjust it where i wanted it remove it from the cd player and put a couple dabs of super glue on the adjustment so it would stop moving

If its low it may block your stick shift

It has subtle grooves in the rubber or each arm you can see them if you look closely
