Pros

Connect the hose from the barb of the mityvac to the bar of the stopper. Drilled a small hole in it for a barb hose connector. Use a turkey baster or hand pump to remove the old fluid from the reservoir.

Should be in every home mechanic's tool arsenal. Easy to set up, easy to use. Makes diy mechanics a lot easier.

This thng works. Works as advertised. If you follow the instructions, it works very well.

Worked great to bleed brakes easily with no mess and no chance of air being * back into the system. Works good pressure bleeding brakes on 2005 dodge ram 2500 cummins. Made bleeding the brakes by myself on my 99 ram 2500 diesel and absolute breeze.



Cons

This tool would do a great job if i could get it to force brake fluid into the brake reservoir without leaking. There are other products out there with pressure releif valves and there is one that does not need to have the pump mechanism to be removed...  Read More

    If needed a tip for a better seal on the master cylinder brake reservoir cap is to put a light coat of silicone grease on the rubber washer silicone is compatible with rubber whereas petroleum based lubes are not

    Using the mityvac pump a vacuum of 15 to 20 psi repeatedly until all the air is sucked out

    Youll know when all the air is sucked out when the gage holds a vacuum without dropping
