I have to soap up the mesh colander asap so the starch from pasta doesnt dry or else it is difficult to get off

The first photo is uncooked quinoa and as stated the holes are too large however i havent tried any cooked quinoa to drain

The second photo is of uncooked barley and no problem there an orzo had no issues either

My last colander had three very thin steel legs on the center base and they are all kinds of bent up and it doesnt sit evenly in the sink and it was driving me crazy so i purchased this new colander from modern innovations

I really couldnt not say what i said if there was something i didnt like i would have said it but its one of those what you see is what you get and its very well made so nothing bad to say here folks you wont be dissapointed thats for sure and your not going to get this at the dollar store either

I like that the inside surface is flat with perforations rather than mesh like some of the other colanders i looked at because the mesh is impossible to clean properly

It is the only strainer that does not trap the seeds in the lip when pouring out
