Pros & Cons

Pros

My right foot tends to slide outward in most shoes buti seem to get more more guidance and less slippage with the mizuno paradox. They come with very flat inserts, so if you have a high arch, you will probably want to change them out.

I'm hooked on mizuno shoes. Was very dissapointed when they discontinued the wave nirvana. It replaces my worn out previous version of this shoe.

It has decent motion control, a better arch, and a better upper. Within days of replacing, pain is gone again. Great support. Great arch support.

Shoe feels firm and supportive but not squishy. Light enough not to interfere with my running style but sturdy enough to offer full support. And the color is actually tolerable this year.

Overall, these shoes are a standout from shoes i have used in the past. Was first introduced to this running shoe brand by a *'s sporting goods sales person, in 2005.

Cons

Mizuno wave alchemy are inflexible. They have a weird heel strike and transition, almost like your foot touches down and then goes clack!
