Pros

This looks a little clunky but is what it is. It has a very decent complement of features and does them very well. For the cost of a cheap dinner out you get a very competent device that will work and last for years to come.

This tiny box really saved my sanity. It works great.

The interface is not as easy to use as the wd-tv, but it is much quicker and does not add files to the hard drive. Just plug in the drive and navigate the file structure of the usb drive to find your videos.

They need a micro-sized red rubber plug - to plug the a/v input hole. When you boot up the device, and play the same file again it will ask you to resume where you left off.

It cost me more than i had originally thought but so far so good

I had a 256gb sd card plugged into it at the same time as a 128gb usb drive flash drive

I had no issues with my 2tb portable hard drive i just bought

It supposedly can accept up to a 2tb usb drive

As for a replacment for micca mplay hd no its not
