Streamed audio quality through the 7009 is outstanding and much better than what i have previously experienced
Five stars for a quality product but mostly for superb support
My roku3 is connected via hdmi to the 7009 and again audio quality is greatly improved while video quality is unchanged
Video quality is unchanged as expected and meaning that video switching through the marantz does not degrade the images
Price
The mcintosh was of course more than twice the price

My solution was to purchase an almond router httpwww

I then set it into its range extender mode by hooking it up to the asus router

Then i wired it with a short lan cable directly to the lan connection of the marantz

I now have complete control of my spotify music it even controls the volume and can turn the stereo on remotely
