I was worried about what happens if i guess wrong about which way the pit is angled but so far its gone ok and i get the angle right so the pit slides through the middle

It goes into the skin well enough but then cant deal with the pit which is of course the whole problem

Mangoes have an axis and after a little practice one can determine this from the outside and line the device up correctly

I always thought the oval in the middle would be too small to cut a california mango or at least the mangoes that i buy in california
