Pros & Cons

Pros

These are my fave files for filing polygel and these are the same files makartt includes in the kits. Makes shaping and filing by nails so much easier and faster. Works great with acrylics. Small tip if remeber to prep/buff a brand new emery board!

The grit is quality, doesn't feel cheap or shed. Very sturdy. Very suprised. Worth every penny.

These emery boards last a long time. They are thick enough so im able to apply pressure and not have the board bend or break. Last a good three to four sets.

Cons

The file is thick (at least 1/4 inch) making them really awkward to use. The black comes off on my nails and the board itself came apart where they are supposed to be glued together. The mess it makes is horrible. Pictures show amount of grit residue ...  Read More

This grit size is very coarse and leaves nails jagged and in rough shape. Hard to get between fingernail and skin. All of them are exactly the same coarseness. May be good for thick toenails.
