Pros & Cons

Pros

Magpul mbos pro sights are a definite upgrade from the polymer mbus i had previously. They appear to be functionally identical to the polymer versions, so whether having metal as opposed to polymer backup iron sights is worth the fairly substantial in...  Read More

Mounting screw is a phillips head, when it is supposed to be a slot with a hex key hole in it and says magpul on screw with no thread locker on screw. All you need is a screwdriver. Easy to add and adjust, folds smoothly and has a nice feel.

This one is all metal, and very solid. As for the rear, very sturdy construction and well thought design.

Easy plinking at 100 with a nice narrow blade like this. Adjustment for zero is a snap with no tools required. Blade is machined for both 0.

The only downside is that they aren't spring-loaded to click open. They fit snug and they don’t over hang. There is less chance for failure and they remain tight.

Cons

The front is a fake. The packaging looks genuine but it had been opened and taped shut again. I'm extremely disappointed something like this wasn't caught earlier and hope amazon will look into the glut of counterfeit items.

The mount screw is a crooked phillips head. This annoyance more than negates any theoretical benefits of tool-free adjustment. It also has an incorrect adjustment knob and a really cheesy phillips screw instead of the correct magpul bolt.
