    Jason himself reminds me of mort of the pratchett stories the naïve young hometown misfit who goes to the big smoke and is taken under the wing of some questionable acquaintances especially death

    There’s some sad stuff too some of it mixed in with funny stuff so you don’t know whether you should laugh or cry and the climax is more frightening than funny
