My son recommended this product as i was allergic as well and very happy with the product
In for the initial suggested wash and so happy with the soft fabric even before the first use
For those like me who tried expensive mattress and pillow protector which didnt protect 100 please try this product
I always try to support american quality made products and it really pays off
Packaging/appearance
Nice terry material and no odor from packaging
There is a fairly strong scent to the fabric when you first take it out of the packaging but after one wash it completely went away
It was making some paperlike sound when i took it out of its packaging but it didnt make any noise at all once i laid my head on it

I like these and that they are made in the usa
Best thing ever made in the usa
They cost a bit more but they are made here in the usa

I like the fact that they are waterproof however you must deflate the air in the case before zipping it up

Can be a little difficult to wash in a standard washer since it will as with all form fitted sheets tend to ball itself up

Without this cover the cover used slip off the memory foam pillow

The pillow was already on the large side then i put the multiple layers around it and the fabric on the outside of the luna protector is a little rough so it was a little harder than usual to get a pillowcase on but it fit ok

I have this protector on all our pillows and also have the protector for mattress as well

I really never washed them on warm until one of my parents pillow cover got nasty vomit stains and tried the sterilize cycle on the samsung washer it says 70 degree celsius so its well within the limit and made the mistake to put in the same load a lesser quality protectabed waterproof pillow cover that clearly states in the sticker machine wash warm
