Lulzbot's service is top notch. No issues or problems.
D printing for home use is still in its infancy. I'm pretty new to 3d printing, and got into it because my significant other is an ambitious gift giver.
This one has so many expansion capabilities. To me this makes it well worth the extra money because i am using it to make prototypes. If you want a plug-and-play, buy the lulzbot mini. Head up to loveland and take one of their friday factory tours.
The manual is awesome and easy to understand. It's self-leveling, and self-cleaning, and really handles things much easier for the beginner. The community behind lulzbot is open source which has pros and cons. This is where the forum comes in.

The packaging instruction manual build quality and tool kit are all first quality
I was printing stuff within hours of taking it out of the box
Fyi i really like the pla plastics

I have had the printer for about 2 weeks and have printed about 40 items most all of the items have been from stl files i found on the web

I thought that the filament had to come out faster than it did and it would chew up the filament at the hobbler bolt

So that it was clogged so we took it apart and cleaned it

The start up book is not very good about what the filament should be doing when extruding for the first time

If you arent willing to spend some time learning the 3d printing process dont buy any 3d printer under 25k
